Under the “Auto Resort Network Plan” advocated by the Hokkaido Development Agency in fiscal year 1988, Arten was constructed as one of the biggest auto campsites in Hokkaido: a new type of a recreation base for outdoor leisure, health maintenance, nature observation and quality family time. Currently, facilities such as 209 campsites, 10 bungalows, 3 log houses, 28 cottages, the 18 hole park golf course, natural hot springs, Yunomi no Yu, and a canoeing base with 8 canoes are available for you.
